Actually A18s tuning is more with industry standard reference(spmething ljke 64audio way of doing harman) whereas A18t was more audiophiliac

A lot of people dont find the very specific tuning as reference but A18s is more reference than A18t. The subbass to mid progressive cut(flat mids and raised subbass) is more ideal yet people find it exciting. The consistent A18t raise which is not ideal(but with M15, it kinda becomes neutralish again).

A18s tuning is for stage where you need any ambience distraction and A18s does it the best due to its tuning compared to A18t.

Its a grown up A12t

Man this really got me wanting to have a listen. I still haven’t listened to the U/A18t’s nor any of the 64 line ups, but have been looking at the qdc Anole VX as well.
Have you had any experience with the qdc As well?

I currently have the following IEMs and I’m wondering if it would be a good addition to my collection lol

IER-Z1R, FitEar Monet17, JH Audio Layla, SE846, XBA-H3.

Awesome review btw!!

@riverground thanks bud!

I owned the QDC Anole VX briefly (shared some impressions in my review thread and my ranking list), but I found that the A18s is a much more exciting and interesting option - the Anole feels way too generic to me personally, though it's certainly a great IEM as well.

I love the IER Z1R, and I think there's definitely "space" for the A18s as well - the other IEM I'd recommend you to look into is the Elysium - it's somewhat flatter than the Layla and the Z1R, but might make for a better complement to the collection?
