Sony NW-HD5 Review (with pics)
Cyclone, thanks for letting me know. I was thinking my unit was faulty... sumguy, yer the photos don't really do it much justice. Initially I thought it was ugly also, but It's nice in person. The size is supposed to be slightly smaller than the HD1 and HD3, but only by a millimeter or...- dj_daniel88

Sony NW-HD5 Review (with pics)
Well I finally received it from Japan, and so far I'm very pleased. I have only been using the unit for a week now, but I thought I might aswell post a 'mini review' while I have the time. Keep in mind this is my first review on anything, so don't expect too much! Also, a lot of this is based on...- dj_daniel88

Review: Sony NW-HD5
Sounds good... I've bought one of these too, in black. I should get it on Monday. I upgraded from an iPod mini, mainly for the sound quality reason. My problem with the iPod was the lack of bass, and the boring and somewhat flat sound. How does this compare to the Sony? I like the sound of...- dj_daniel88

In the market for a new MP3 player
Well for a micro-hdd player I'd reccomend the Olympus m:robe M100. It is an excellent little player, and very cool looking. Sound quality is great, UI is fairly easy, and build quality is top notch too. The only fault that I found with the player was the low volume, however this is easily fixed...- dj_daniel88

Bad time to buy Sony HD3?
Yeh but I hate iRiver... They are big, ugly and hard to use. The sound quality and EQ are really good though... shame the iPod can't incooperate this. When do u guys predict a new HD player release from Sony?- dj_daniel88

Bad time to buy Sony HD3?
Hey, I am out to replace my iPod mini for somethin with a bit more bass and coloured sound. I was about to buy a HD1 (with mp3 upgrade) or a HD3, but I don't know if this would be a good move or not. I know Sony are bringing out new flash players and MD players, but do you think a HD player...- dj_daniel88

SonicStage 3.0 available
I just downloaded the new sonicstage. Big improvement over the old one, the album/source problem really bothered me. Much better now. I will go out and buy the HD1 (with mp3 upgrade) even sooner now. I do have a question though, the annoying groups thing has been fixed on actual sonicstage...- dj_daniel88

iPod mini to Sony HD1
I did actually consider the iAudio at some stage, but the lack of screen on the main unit bothers me... I never use remotes, I feel they get in the way. Everything else about it would be perfect. Anything else you could reccomend? So how loud is the HD1 compared to MD? Do you think Sony...- dj_daniel88

iPod mini to Sony HD1
Hey all, I own an iPod mini, I've had it for about 5 months now. I upgraded from a Sony NetMD. I really liked the sound from the sony, colourful and bassy, as apposed to the iPods rather 'flat' sound with minimal bass. I'm starting to miss the Sony sound, after listening to my mates NetMD...- dj_daniel88

Sony NW-HD3 (full review)
Hey Mavis! Thanks for the review... even though a slightly negative one, those pictures alone make me want to buy one for myself! I wanna upgrade from an iPod mini, coz I miss the Sony sound (I used to own a minidisc N910). I remember being disappointed with the iPods sound at first, but I...- dj_daniel88

Rumors of 4th gen iPod
I don't believe it will have a colour screen which can display pictures, etc... an iPod like that wouldnt sell very well with the general public. Plus, it wouldn't be an iPod. iPod is a stylish, easy to use music player, thats all, and Apple knows it. They wouldnt stuff it up with a colour...- dj_daniel88

iPod Mini VS. Nomad MuVo2 4GB
The comparison between these two players hasn't been discussed. They are both very alike... they use the same hard drive. I can't decide wether to keep my iPod Mini or the MuVo2. The MuVo has a 14 hour battery life, and the battery is user replacable. The iPods battery isnt great and is not...- dj_daniel88

need new headphones... first post!!
I wouldn't go with the larger headphones. They are just too big. From what you have said about the PX200, they sound good for me. Its just the matter of driving them with my muvo2. They have 200 ohms, so I don't think they will get too loud. Volume is very important. EDIT Actually, looking...- dj_daniel88

need new headphones... first post!!
Hi all, This is my first post and I am a beginner with all this. I used to own a minidisc player (N910) but have recently sold it and bought a 4gb Creative Labs Muvo, which is on its way to me now. It has 30mW.... but I don't know ohms. The only earphones I own are aiwa vx100! I need...- dj_daniel88
