Hi everyone! Just got my Arya, coming from a Sundara and, most recently, A Gold Planar GL2000, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Fantastic soundstage and separation. Currently amping with a Jot2 with a Mojo as a dac. Would the Bifrost 2 or Denafrips be a better DAC for this?

I'm thinking of getting a bf2 to replace my mojo. I already have a Jot2. How is the pairing of the bifrost2 with the GL2K?

How do the gel pads affect soundstage?

Really enjoying these with the perforated pads. The leather pads sound a bit harsh to me. Not sure if its because of the thickness of the pads or the material. Build quality on these seemse excellent. The Jot2 powers them well

Just bought a Sundara and I'm loving the sound. Currently, I'm running it with a mojo. Would adding something like a magni create some noticeable improvements?

I would suggest going the route of other mythology. Kronos would be the logical choice if Greek myth names are used but at some point you'll run out of names for flagship products. Might I suggest either Amaterasu (Japanese mythology) or Tiamat (Mesopotamian).

Was able to attend Canjam SG and it was an amazing experience! First time for me to be able to listen to the higher end headphones and customs. Unfortunately, i wasnt able to listen to the orpheus and the Hifiman Shangrila, but the HE-1000, Stax, Fostex line, and the Ether made everything...

Just got them, and tried them with my shure olives and the comply's that come with them, imo i dont hear a difference. I like how the comply's dont need that much of a force to make sure they are secure in my ear

used to have a handful of headphones, sold almost all and now just have an LCD-2. i dont regret anything but i still dont have any hp for when i go out

I went from an HF2 to an LCD2 with an EF2A (yes, its underpowered), but i like the scale up in sound from an HF2. the music isnt as in-your-face as the HF2 but the LCD2 can still be engaging. i've also had a MD5000 which has a different sound sig from both but is still nice and  not as engaging...

When i had my D5000, i paired it with a hifiman ef2a and it worked really well. The soundstage opened up and as mentioned it gets loud with a little nudge on the volume control. you'd have to change the stock tubes though bec to me those tubes are crap.

2 weeks after i got mine for me :(
