I had pretty much decided to see, if I could get a pair of Sennheiser IE8 because they seem to fit my criterias for a new set om IEMs .   Then I read somewhere here on Head-Fi, that the SQ of the IE8 suffers if you get too good a seal (I might be paraphrasing). Then I did some more reading...

I have the same problem, using FireFox 3.6.6 on Windows 7. Disable JavaScript, and the problem goes away. Re-enable JavaScript and the problem returns. Guess I could use NoScript to disable scripts on Head-Fi.org...

Having used the SHE9800'ers for a while now, I would just like to add, that I like them even more now. Great isolation and great sound (disclaimer: I don't have 'golden ears'). (But they are really not 'full size' )
