govibe ppk??
I have a unit and i must say it sounds remarkably like the RSA Shadow I also own. The mids are a little recessed as compared to the shadow IMHO, but everything else is around par. I paid USD308 for the amp and an LOD and I must say it was a steal!- qqchewchew

K701 and HD650.. Now what?
Thanks for the responses. I have a really wild idea here: Even though the DAC is the next component I should upgrade, the beta22 amp really intrigues me. I'm really, really, really tempted to build one, as a future-proof, long-term investment. Herein comes the dilemma: Should I go balanced...- qqchewchew

K701 and HD650.. Now what?
i found the dt880's bass anaemic, and didn't really hear anything else that was outstanding from it except its pretty wide soundstage. But the K701 i like because of its detailed and analytical sound, and nice soundstage. As for balanced.. I dont think I wanna take the plunge yet, it's pretty...- qqchewchew

K701 and HD650.. Now what?
I've had these two headphones for over a year now.. Had the DT880 250ohm before but sold it off as I thought the bass was really anaemic. Enjoy these two headphones IMMENSELY. My setup is: Fb2k-> Zero DAC w/Earth -> DV337 (Tungsol5998, 6SJ7GT mesh-plates) Now I'm suffering from...- qqchewchew

DT880(600ohm) Or Darth Beyer/'03?
As title, Someone's selling the his darth beyers '03 (250ohm) and i can't decide between it and the 600ohm DT880. Which would be better? I've heard the DT880 '05 250ohm and didnt like it for the excessive highs and anemic bass, so I was contemplating on getting the 600ohm, hearing that it's...- qqchewchew

Would Grado 325i (used) be a good buy for me?
I currently have a Zero DAC -> Darkvoice 337 -> K701/DT880/HD650 I found someone selling a gradi 325i, used about 1.5 yrs for around USD220. Would this be a good buy for me? By "good buy" i mean: 1) My current AMP can support it (DV337/Zero) so i dont have to shell out more pennies for...- qqchewchew
