I think that I'll be able to make this one. If so I can bring my double helix recabled HD650, ESW9s and HDP coax'd to pure i20 dock for people's ipods.

Not exactly the most sophisticated set-up, but I'm enjoying the ESW9s straight out of the clip w/o any EQ. They do sound a lot better amped though; guess I'll have to look into some portable ones haha.

I don't see how it could be considered overhyped. I've used directsound, asio4all and ploytec drivers, but wasapi is my clear winner.   ease of use, best sq/equal sq with no issues, and works flawlessly with foobar; latency delay is the only 'issue'.

I've had it with wonky drivers and weird usb issues so I think I'm permanently switching to wasapi.

"control panel>sound>digital output>options>advanced>allow applications to take exclusive control of this device (un-tick it)"   interesting; never thought to try that. now if I pause audio in foobar I can go open a youtube video and hear the audio from it. the delay is just something I have...

I've heard grado 325i through the pico slim and I thought they made an excellent combination.

Never use scented Co2 dispenser sprays near headphones; trust me.   A lot of odor in headphones is caused by excess dust and other small particles in hard to react areas on most headphones. Compressed air and plastic toothpicks work well.

I find that senns work well with kpop.   As mentioned before, some production trends in kpop (especially when dealing with female vocals) get a bit iffy on the high end of things so you want something that can calm it down. my grado experience when listening to 4minute was not a good one.

As I've owned both I can say with absolute certainty that the MKIIs are better desgined and have better comfort for longer play sessions.

I very much prefer the HE-5 spc cable. Treble extension is noticeably better.

Bought an HD650 cable from Peter. Made a huge difference in my current set-up. The detail is enhanced in both the highs and lows. Fast shipping, pleasure to deal with and the cables look gorgeous. I wouldn't hesitate to order another cable from him again.
