I also have a M6. Very nice sound. The onliest thing I don't like is the hissing, especially when using a amp (FiiO E5) and using the M6 on low volume. The M6, together with the E5 has approx the same sound quality as the Clip+ ( with tripleFi IEMS)

For me are the following things important on a earphone (in random sequence) - build quality/Replaceable cable. I don't want loose my IEM's because the cable/connector breaks or the IEM itself is falling apart - good isolation, the more the better, but it may not be active isolation...

Future Sonics Atrio are IEM's with a lot of bass and good mids. They should be better on all front compared with the fi.5EB. By the way, the fi.5EB are only isolating 16 dB, the earphone you have has a 26 dB isolation..

Wait two weeks and than buy the FiiO E5 for around 20 dollar.

You also can consider the Ultimate Ears Super Fi.5. They are (according a lot of people) better than the Fi.5 pro while they have approx the same price as the Fi.5EB. Unfortunately you can't replace the cable.

If you really want a lot of bass you also can consider the Ultimate Ears Super Fi.5 Extended Base (EB) They are 90 pound (how do you say that in the UK, 90 quid?) More bass than this you probably wont get, or you must take the Sennheiser CX300 (25 pound)

You can't use the soft foam tips? I also have the Fi.5 and I'm only using the soft tips, they are much comfortable for me than the silicone tips.
