I must say the Ipod Touch 2G is a neat device. I use it as a portable player and as control using iPeng for my Squeezebox and it works great. As for the comments regarding problems playing ALAC files, I play ALAC files on my iPod touch 2G and iPod Nano 4G and they play with no problem...

Same opinion here, I use my Zpre2 to drive my headphones, and they get the job done pretty good, and to top it off, you can use the remote control to adjust the volume from a distance
