    Koss KSC-35 vs. KSC-75

At least on my ears, the 35's offer the snuggest fit. The ear clips don't pinch at all (again, on my anatomoy) and are comfortable to wear for hours. I barely notice they are on my head. I can jog or go mountain biking with them on, and they have yet to fall off. I can't say the same for the...

    BUDGET CANS REVIEWED: Koss KSC35, KSC50, UR-29, 457, 212 Pro, Philips HP170

I actually wrote this review in January but it got bumped back up to the top since some of us have been talking about the new Koss KSC75's and I want to add them to this review. I originally wanted to limit the review to only cans available in local retail stores (thus excluding the KSC35 and...

    BUDGET CANS REVIEWED: Koss KSC35, KSC50, UR-29, 457, 212 Pro, Philips HP170

Thanks for the additional feedback, I was planning on adding the PX100 and PX200 to this review sometime, and perhaps try out the new Koss KSC75's too (anyone try those yet?).

    Sennheiser HD-212 Pro---Any Good?

I like mine, but I only use it when I need absolute isolation, like on an airplane or subway. They don't leak at all, so I also like to use them when my gf is trying to sleep in bed next to me but I am still trying to read or something. But they are bass-heavy and lack some clarity in the mids...

*Bump* Has anyone bought these yet?

    Koss KSC75??

Gosh, I just ordered a spare set of KSC35's a week ago. Has anyone listened to these new 75's yet? I'd love to see a full review. I am tempted to buy a set myself, so I can add it to my Budget Cans Review.

Info/specs/experience with Koss K/6X Plus? Recommended replacement?

Hehe, naw. My pair still work fine. The ear pads need to be reglued to the drivers in some places, but mine are in ok condition. Just can't wear them for too long without hurting my ears, so I learn to do without them.

    I am a KSC-35 spazz...

I can't comment on the (S)Porta Pros yet, but if you want ear clips the KSC50's sound about the same as the 35's *if* they fit your ears. They are definitely easier to put on and take off, but accordingly they don't fit as securely (on me at least). Check out my recent review of the KSC50's...

Whoah, I can't do that without severely bending the ear clips, straining the hinged joint, or folding my ear. Maybe I have big ears, the "C" shape of the clips are only large enough to go around the base of my ear "funnel" and are way too tight to just pop over my ear lobes like that. These...

Wodgy is correct. The easiest way is to place the tips of the ear clips at the tops of your ears, as if you were about to slide a pencil over your ear or slide on a pair of sunglasses. Once you have the ear clip in it's "track" or groove between the top of your ear and your head, just rotate the...

Don't feel bad, you had a valid criticism and called me out on it - no hard feelings at all! Now where's the *beerclink* smiley when you need it.

    BUDGET CANS REVIEWED: Koss KSC35, KSC50, UR-29, 457, 212 Pro, Philips HP170

BACKGROUND: I have been lurking and leeching knowledge from this site for several weeks, but now's my chance to give something back to the community and hopefully someone will learn or benefit from my experience (and maybe save some of their hard earned money too). I have been searching for...

Info/specs/experience with Koss K/6X Plus? Recommended replacement?

Don't laugh, I have some old skool clunky Koss K/6X Plus headphones that I still like better than most (new) headphones available for under $100. These Koss cans may be complete crap to most audiophiles, and I'm sure the latest driver technology blows away the performance of my dinosaurs, but I...
