My MPX3 is SE style with SE transformer. Running 2c51 6BL7 combo for hundreds of hours with no problem.

I have a heavily upgraded MPX3 which prices $2500 kept by mikhail for more than two months. Last mail he told me that there is a winter storm in his place and some electrical outage. He said he would ship it to me tomorrow. Hope he won't break his promise again.

Two things should be considered in the comparison IMO: 1.Has HD800 fully burnt in? 2.Is HD800 fully drived? In fact there wasn't a good-enough headphone amp to drive HD800 in CES2009. DAC1 is just a audio source, not a good amp. So you haven't heard the full power of HD800 yet, Bostonears.

Yes,I output with ASIO. I tryed several softwares with ASIO. Foobar sounds best. I'm so confused that they all have excellent decoders then what make them sound different and is there any greater players than foobar?
