My understanding of soundstage is how much "room" the IEM has to place the instruments. On some IEM's it sounds like all the instruments are on the same place, and on the IE8 you can hear the instruments all over the place, with good separation. It is.. awesome

It's a iPod Touch 2G so no i think.. but i'm not the biggest fan of rockbox either way. But how do i use/enable replaygain?

So is there anything i can do to get the same volume on my songs? I have a few 24/96 vinyl rips and they have much lower volume than other CD ripped files, and it gets irritating fiddling with the volume all the time..

What's the final word on the Prat that was discussed earlier in this thread? Do the V-Dac have Prat problem? And will a better PSU fix it? Sorry if i'm asking questions that have been answered..

I keep it on the lowest, and i think thats plenty. But i dont think my pair is fully burned in yet, so perhaps some of the bass will go away after a while.

I'm pretty satisfied with the battery of my Touch 2G, i keep wifi off most of the time and keep the screen brightness pretty low and i never use coverflow. I think it lasts over 30 hours.. good enough for me..

Weee, got my IE 8's 20 minutes ago! Kinda sad that i couldn't get a good fit with any of the included tips, luckily i had some Complys laying around! The first thing i noticed is the nice soundstage + it kinda sounds like a normal speaker, first time i've heard that in a IEM. Can't wait...

I got my V-Dac on saturday and have been playing nonstop when i can. It´s my first dac so i won't say anything on the SQ, except that i love it! Would love to hear more about PSU upgrades on DACs, is the sound improvement really noticeably? (PRAT was mentioned a few posts earlier)

Yep, the controls and the menu on the iAudio 7 can be quite irritating, therefore i went with the Cowon D2..

The Denons are Y shaped.. I have the Denons but i've only had the Goldring GX200 before so i don't have much of a reference point.. but i enjoy them.. with a impedance adapter on my D2 they sound awesome

Maybe the Cowon iAudio 7? It's pretty small with good battery life..
