Hey I have a question, What kind of headphones are best suited for hip hop listening... I need to prep for the upcoming releases by Kanye and T.I.

I force myself to listen to new music and new styles so that I can find new albums that are comfortable to listen to. It sucks to listen to a bad album but you'll have to go through a few of those before you find something that becomes a classic for you.

I just picked up the Album "Final Cut" and its a lot better than I expected. This band is amazing!

Anything by the blood hound gang is pretty funny

I think it mostly depends on the set up and the listener but I do believe that headphones immerse you in the music better.

But which headphones are the sexiest? I don't know why but I just love the look of the grados, you'd want people to see you in them. Retro but still up to date. very cool

Is break in really that much of a problem on grados?

I guess it also depends on what kind of headphones you prefer, open or closed. I'm sure grados or senns would work well, depending on YOUR preference

Yes there are huge competitors, maybe not economically but as far as size, sound quality, versatility and other factors.... It is a huge YES!

I would say the Cowon D2, I run wave on that thing, its amazing

Yeah American Gangster is a lot better than reasonable doubt. You should check out that after "doubt" Jay Z has a better sound on that album

I just picked up the Foreign Exchange album, and its actually really cool. The beats are really smooth and they duo works well. You guys should check it out.

I'd have to say that Rakim had the best flow. Combined with Eric B's beats, and they had quite a record

Go for the sony mdr 7506 's. They are incredibly versatile and they have a very warm sound
