For someone less well-versed with the Folkvangr proposition ... how should I think about it vis-a-vis something like the Mjolnir 2? I was rocking original LCD-2's, but am now on LCD-5's, which (I think?) require less to drive. I am not an EE. :)

FYI: The grounded extension cable for the Apple Macbook adapter has, as expected, fixed the tingling issue and buzzing issue.

I've got a 16" with Touch Bar here, so pretty recent ... I'm also not using Apple's charger, I'm using a generic Anker hub. I'm going to start by trying the ungrounded Apple supply, and then try the grounded extension to see what's going on.

It's not available in the store, but they are making these new cables in XLR if you ask for it. Confirmed with support it is the new cabling, not the existing premium cable.

I just sent mine in today for the Unison USB upgrade. Yggy is tempting, but I've never felt like the Gumby wasn't giving me what I wanted, and now with Unison, I can take my Wyrd out of the chain.
