Review: ZERO 24 BIT/192KHz DAC/Headphone Amp/Pre-Amp
Quote: Sorry, I thought you said lineout was Amped as well. Ok, so Lineout to M3 will work great. How about to my powered speakers which have 3.5 mini and RCA input? Can I run them off the amped side (1/4 output) or is it going to sound bad?- cybertron

Review: ZERO 24 BIT/192KHz DAC/Headphone Amp/Pre-Amp
Quote: Ah ok, both are amped. Can you help me understand this then... If I am trying to get the audio out to my M^3 amp, should you not amp the music twice? as you should not DAC the music twice either? Maybe I just need a different DAC w/ volume control and no amp. Thoughts?- cybertron

Review: ZERO 24 BIT/192KHz DAC/Headphone Amp/Pre-Amp
I really hate to create a new thread for my question, so I'll append it here and hope someone can point me in the right direction. My current setup is as follows: USB --> Pico DAC --> Audio Engine A2 speakers (3.5mm) && Rockhopper M^3 Amp (RCA) I was hoping to use the Zero DAC as a...- cybertron

Hey Trav, Just wanted to say thanks for your willingness to help me out if possible. I do have one tiny tiny comment... If it is at all possible, when setting up and placing the equipment, maybe just see if someone with short arms could reach it? I honestly have no idea how the room will be...- cybertron

Identifying a fake Sennheiser MX 760!
Well I got all 5 pairs. I did find out that the guy posted them incorrectly and they should have been selling for $9.99 each, but I lucked out. I honestly cant see how these would be fake as the packing is very very clean and proper. The buds themselves are pristine and also sound pretty good...- cybertron

Identifying a fake Sennheiser MX 760!
Regarding the MX400 and 500, I'm not sure if I've received counterfeit versions of those, but I will say that sound a ton better than the original ipod headphones. I recently broke my last pair and have had to use the ipod headphones for the first time and they are total rubbish. Have you...- cybertron

Identifying a fake Sennheiser MX 760!
Crap, I just bought 5 of these for $14. I'm in a chair and they always get snagged in my wheels, so I buy lots at a time if price is low. I've been able to get MX300, 400, 500 for about $5 each, but these were insanely cheap. Any advice? Sennheiser MX 760 Earphone (Black) - eBay (item...- cybertron

I keep hearing my Zero click on and off inside... it happens specifically when I turn on something that is like AC3 audio, 5.1, DTS, etc. My logitech speakers decode DTS and Dolby, but I currently have all audio going through to my headphones for now until I install my EMU 0404 and plug that...- cybertron
