    ECC88 a direct replacement for 6N23P?

    I'm no expert. Double check this information. But I think you can always replace a 6N23P with an EC88, but you can't always replace an EC88 with a 6N23P. My advice is unfortunately to buy an expensive NOS EC88, it would be my preference in sound over the Russian tubes from my meager experience.
