$200 mixing can showdown: HD25 vs. K271S vs. HFI-650 vs. DT250
I agree with ReDVsion, the K271 will not be that comfy when you hang it around your neck to check the mix through the monitor speakers due to it's large ear cups and the beyers are not that usefull because of its low isolation, even though i believe they are excelent cans.- dillatortilla

Got my Senn HD 600's today!
Can you post some impresions vs the HD-25? i know these two headphones are entirely diferent, the thing is i want to try a diferent sonic signature... it could very well be a laid back or a more forward headphone. 2 impresions would be better tho the first being unamped and second amped once...- dillatortilla

need info on pana SL-S151C
Thanks for the replay, the volume on the SL-S151c starts to distort at level 7 wich i don't mind since the HD-25-1 reaches a loud enough volume for my ears... maybe a little loud. Your post got me motivated on buying it, i hope this one follows the SQ of older pcdp players. The problem now is...- dillatortilla

newbie headphone faq
The solution is to make a "make your lazy ***** use the search button" explaining the procedure of how to do such thing as well what keywords related to the question they'll have to type. PS: sorry about "procedure" i don't know if it is written correctly.- dillatortilla

akg 271 or sennheiser hd 25-1?
I think you are going to be better off with the K271 in the long run, if you make some searches you'll find that the sonic signature resembles the HD600, this means it's more suited to your listening preferences. I'm starting to lose some of the isolation that i once had with the HD25-1...- dillatortilla

Best cans for electronic music?

How loud are the HD580s/HD600s to others in the room?
I recommend the senn. HD-25, these are quite small (being supra aural), and can handle portable devices prety good (70 ohms).- dillatortilla

Which headphones should i get?
There's a silver version of the HD280 (can't remember where), judging from your posts it seems style is really important to you, in this case i suggest you get the eggo, otherwise get the hd280. The HD497 is semi-open, it doesn't leak so badly (grados) and it has a laid back sound wich i...- dillatortilla

Which headphones should i get?
Forget about the HD470, everybody seems to dislike them over here, you'd be better off saving for a HD497. The V6 & HD280 are really appreciated on these boards, but given the reviews that i've read i'd say the HD280 are the way to go given your music taste (if they were not mentioned...- dillatortilla

An old crappy kenwood "mini hi-fi" component and my pc's factory sound card wich is mainly the source that i'm using. I'm saving up for a M-audio usb audiophile sc, originaly the plan was to buy it instead of the HD25-1 . Oh yeah, i'm currently ampless.- dillatortilla

Finally got my HD25-1
well, i finally got them and let me tell you i'm pleased with them, i was expecting for a much more closed sound, i would dare to say that it has a not so inside-of-a-cavern sound but due to my lack of experience with open cans i won't . the clamping force, while it's not so hard it does...- dillatortilla
