Maybe a Audio Technica ES7 might suffice for you mate. Abit bloated bass and in-your-face type of mids. But highs are sharp. But after recabling soundstage is widens by a big margin and high are not sharp anymore. Also the bass is awesome, it becomes really tight and not a single bit muddy.

i think if you're going unamped, i believ the ad700/900 really shine. They do have good bass too. If you want really pure bass, then my friend, the ES7 will make you more than Satisfied

i shall say the denon d1001(low budget) Denon D2000 ( mid budget ) and also the Audio Technica AD700/900( low-mid Budget ) and the Grado SR60/80(very low budget) or Allasandro MS1(Very Low budget) . The audio technica's are really good going ampless while the d2000 is a beast when amped. D1001...

its a infamous dual driver. If you want to have the best, then Tri Fi 10 VI from UE. Best value of money i think is the nuforce IEM.

this works for the es7?

Audio Technica ESW9, very nice aesthestics and used to be the best portable can before the ESW10 and Ultrasone edition 8 came out. Still they are very affordable at around twice the price of the ES7

their vocals are really smooth and nice. Plus i absolutely love their comfort.

The ESW9 is far more superior is aesthetics and build quality. Also, the sound wise ES7 has deeper bass than the ESW9 but the ESW9 has better highs, soundstage, vocals and clarity. It will really shine using a amp. Graham slee voyager might be good.
