Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
With regards to the first point of them sounding the same both wired and wireless, most if not all Bluetooth headphones will have a DSP so this won't be possible for the most part.- spr33

Most TOTL IEMs use multiple drivers, between 3 and 5 I've found. Someone do correct me though.- spr33

Never had the EX - I thought they were too expensive (paying for the name rather than the quality, again, just my opinion). Caveating now that all my views are my personal opinion, everyone is different and sound is subjective yadda yadda.- spr33

Personally, I think they're the ones to beat. I sampled a lot of TWS last year and they were my favourite and the ones I've ended up keeping. Not looking for anything else now for a while. Not many people have had them, only a few on here and there aren't really many other decent reviews online...- spr33

To keep it simple, Samsung. To be a little more specific, the earlier Samsung Buds and Buds+. Still both very good even today. Beware of fakes!- spr33

Oh 100%, definitely each to their own. My ears definitely prefer the FP3 for sure so far. I'll give the Ace some more time next week but the FP3 are a much more solid and 'full' package for the money. That's not to say the Ace are bad, not at all. I can definitely see xMems becoming very common...- spr33

My ears don't agree. Freebuds are better in every way be it sound, build and features. They obliterate the regular Ace hands down to me, no questions. They sound wider, more detailed, airy, bass is much faster and less bloated.. add in much better ANC and the dynamic ear EQ and all the other...- spr33

My Creative Aurvana Ace (not 2) arrived, putting them through their paces now. Initial impressions of the build: not impressed when compared to others at a similar price (and ones at a lower price). Flimsy case lid, cheap in hand feel, buds feel and look cheap IMO. I'm not blown away by the...- spr33

Yeah, I think people miss the fact that just because it's the same hardware that both models will sound the same. I was very tempted to go for the regular ace given that fact yesterday but decided against it last second. I think it'll probably be Ace 2 or nothing for me but I'm pretty happy...- spr33

I did quite a bit of A/B testing and thought that the FB3 had better bass, detail retrieval and overall better sound sig.. but that's just me. But yes, FP2 Vs Ace 2 stands 😁- spr33

I was going to ask the same question but Vs the Freebuds Pro 3 (coincidentally earphones of the year for me beating out the Nuratrue Pro!). I've read below and seen someone reply saying they're in a different league so I may have to bite the bullet and try them. Would love to hear from anyone...- spr33
