shure E4c no bass?
Yah like everyone said seal is key but what I noticed going from the EX71 to the E4's is that the bass is very present but just wont give u that impact like the EX71's would. I could hear it, its nice and tight and very clean for most of my songs but when I play some other music like certain...- LTech221

Worthy Sub-$250 Cans
Im almost in the same boat as you. Looking for something open to go with the DT250's I already have, but ive narrowed my choices down to the HD580 or 595 due to their prices. Driven off a pimeta with ad8610/20 opamps.- LTech221

thank you, head-fi... and now i bow out.
Best way to avoid the head-fi syndrome is to constantly be broke but I would probably go with the MD33's from what I read around here. I haev the EX71 and its very muddy, bloated in the bass, and painful highs at first or I may have just gotten used to them- LTech221

AKG special at djmart.com until Jan 31
I think so, and I think it goes for any because I just tried it on HD580's that came out to $190 with shipping and tax and it dropped to $172.- LTech221

Beyer DT250 headband stretchable? ouch.
Mine were like a vice grip on my head very painful. So what i did was while letting them burn in I put 2 pillows on each side of the beyer box, put the beyers over them and left them there for 2 days. After that they were a tight fit but they were alot more comfortable. If you can stand wearing...- LTech221

Beyer DT250-80 price and vs HD280
Reading around ppl got the 280's for $59 or $69 with the guitarcenter price match thing. I recently bought the 250-80's for $150 at BH Photo, well 142 + shipping so the price wasnt to bad and they came in 2 days early- LTech221

Beyer DT 250-80 questions
Alright, thanks for your info. Just wondering about the 202/212 comparison in blocking noise, I can hear outside noises fine, I don't really need an extreme isolation where im in my own world sort of thing, but just enough to not get annoyed or annoy others when I listen with them.- LTech221

Beyer DT 250-80 questions
Hi everyone, Im new here and looking for my first purchase of good closed phones. I did extensive searches on closed headphones, and probably found that the Beyers are the ones for me.
