Well i have a Nokia E61, also a E71 which is in the post from an upgrade... i will agree with sound quality, i had some IEM's with mine and very happy. As for the Nokia's music player they seem to downgrade it on the enterprise models and use better music software on music player models like...

Like '3XO' said everything sounds diffrent and depending on the music and your taste its all diffrent. However if you get a player with usb-audio out then you can get a DAC which will be a more enhanced sound conversion device. As for files flac and wav is probabbly the best sound quality but...

Well it requires kernel modules to get the usb audio working then to patch the also to it, then get canola player to output via the dac... i will be relasing a custom nokia firmware package for audiophilies

I think the Nokia Charging is low volt's so i could cook something up... yea flac over SMB aint a bad idea, but i prefer the flac's local.
