I found DIY quite addictive. Started with a cmoy with basic iron ... slowly progressed to a Hakko 936, now with a Mint / Pimeta x 2 / PPA / M3. quicksilver96 mentioned the word 'obsession', very true indeed.

I have too many amps at the moment, have to off load some for new ones. I may consider it in six months time unless it's absolutely incredible.

Welborne MiniAmp, has anyone built or heard one?
