Actually scratch that. It wouldn’t work without the adapter anyway. Mmcx it is’

Does anyone know if the 2pin connection on the old ER4P cable/transducer holes is a 0.75mm or a 0.78mm? Sorry to pester.

I have an adapter for that nub (like the one for sale a few posts up)... so that'd work! Fantastic! I think I can see them. Thank you very much tinyman!

Can I ask a seemingly silly question? Is there any device that you can use to adapt the transducers/adapters into a bluetooth/wireless headset (with no round neck cables)? I'm sick of my work-based overhead headset and wondered if that was feasible. I love my ER4s in their variant forms and...

My ER4XRs were stolen (along with the bag they were in). It’s a sad day. Thank god for the backup ER4Ps with the red filters!

I'm over the moon at this point ClieOS - comfortably working through a rewrite of quite a large documentation suite with comfort instead of pain. These really are incredible little things these earphones. You spend a lot of money figuring out how much value for money is in there, and how...

Ping me a message re the tips mate - maybe I can help. Re the cables, it's all good - far less of a problem than the stock Ety cables failing on me repeatedly.

I need a new, simpler MMCX cable but these are now my backup set... This is my main set - the XR, with ClieOS’s adapter meaning I can slot in stock cables.

Oh, and of course the microphonics problem and the slight nausea while eating problem are both greatly reduced.

This is part of the why behind my request for these... I wear mine if I wake in the night and that's hard on the cables. I'm now able to swap in cables, and am no longer reliant on what can be very uncomfortable adapters, or having stock MMCX connectors popping out of the XR 'female'. ClieOS...

I uses to find the Ety sleeves were hard on my ear canals and before I knew about these, got custom sleeves moulded (which were good but occluded the sound a bit I felt due to the transducer being further away from my eardrum). The custom sleeves were obviously blissful to wear for long periods...

I suspect they'll be the same then as I got them new. :) They're not in need of bass boost I don't think. I'll keep the reds for the ER4P. :)

Quick question folks - for the ER4XR, there's no need for the red filter mod to enhance bass, is there? I'm red/green colour blind and can't actually see which filters are in there now :D

BTW I should add, I use the large versions which you can pull over the transducer (almost condom style - apologies), and they stretch comfortably around the cylinder, and stay in place perfectly. They're soft/squidgy medical silicon similar to the ACS custom monitors, so they adapt to your ear...

I use the ACS T15 medical silicon tips - they’re perfect in terms of comfort and seal. https://www.acscustom.com/uk/products/accessories/acs-t15-tips

Ah so the answer is 'yes if you pay big money'... in which case the answer is 'no'. :) Thanks ClieOS. I'm not on very often now so appreciate the insight.

Quick question folks - are there any after market cables available for the ER4XR? I'm on my second cable already and it's failing again - the quality is poor (much like the originals - my backup set has a lovely bomb proof after market cable that never causes any problems).

It seems the more ergonomic adapters haven't washed onto the market yet. I'll put up with the occasional annoyance of the sharp corners for a while longer. :)

Folks, quick question - where do you guys source the adapters for the transducers to use them with standard stock replacement cables?   I noticed that the new style adapters with a more ergonomic style had come out (or at least the housings for them). Are the new shape on the market anywhere...

Hi mate - sorry I missed this - they stretch over the actual transducer cylinder so yeah - they also cushion the cylinder if that makes sense.

Oh, by the way, the ACS medical silicon tips are phenomenal. Brings out the bass to the extent that they match any other in ear monitor I've used (or close enough for my taste anyway) with the red filters.

Just a short note to (again) say thanks for your help on this thread. Here's are my little twin companions, with a total price of roughly £170. Blissful, and every part fungible.
