I feel myself get hooked on IEMs.  Just picked up a pair of Shure SE215s and really, like them.  Been using them straight out of the iPod or iPhone.  Also with the laptop and Headroom Bithead.  So of course never being satisfied I wonder about different amps for IEMs.  RSA Shadow.....RSA...

Do you think the gap in performance from less expensive gear and uber, high end stuff is getiing smaller?  I've heard asoke "low end" stuff that sounds pretty, damn good.

So i've just been listening to some SR-225s and am impressed.  My very, first headphones were SR-60s.  I've owned SR-125s which I thought were an improvement over the 60s.  Tried a pair of RS-2s and sold them quick.  For some reason I just did not like them.  Ended up with some RS-1s years ago...

I find myself enjoying semi-portable set-ups alot lately.  IPad with Bithead SR-225 or HD600s.  Of course no one hear is ever satisfied.  So what would be a nice upgrade path from the Bithead, which I think is a great little amp/DAC.

I was just messing around with the Macbook, Headroom Bithead and Grado SR-60/414 pads.  I downloaded the demo of Pure Music.  I have not enjoyed music like this is quite some time.  I could just keep listening.  I was happy with iTunes and Decibel.  Can't wait to try the...

Built a Blue Dragon for my HD600s.  Really, like the sound with the Schiit Valhalla.  Very smooth sounding and seperation detail.  I think the seperation is the most noticable.  High quality cable.  Anybody use this on e Grados?
