Suspect its just analog in with some serial control functions from the amp. Denon & Pioneer have ipod connectivity too - there's a Denon page somewhere that claims digital connectivity but it would need to read files (like USB transfer) as I don't think there's a digital stream on the ipod dock...

Hi, Just bought an ipod & finding my PX200's a little bass lean on the bus (I listen to mostly electronic based music). I've A-B'ed the 200's vs the 250's and the 250's definately have more bass on my ears (weird 'cause they look the same). The 250's seem to 'boost' the general level as well...
