i didnt get aqualung to work, so I use mpd (music player daemon) with ncmpc, a command-line-based client. very lightweight, and nice. does gapless playback perfectly too. it exists a lot of different clients, a very informative wiki here: http://mpd.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
