Bluetooth headphones for workshop
I need some suggestions for Bluetooth wireless headphones for use in my woodshop. Currently using 3M brand set, with acceptable audio quality but need something better. Needs to work well as ear protection as well? Anyone familiar with a product that would fit the bill?- Ash

Thanks dewey! Appreciate your input. Placed an order for the EMU. Will have to look into replacing pads as comfort is paramount. Will try the Asgard for now but will be looking to get the A90 in the near future especially if any sales happen as we near Christmas. Next up for trial will be...- Ash

Whisky (or Whiskey) Fi
Lagavulin 16 is my favorite as well. Prices have been going up steadily over the last year or 2. Ardbeg Uigeadail is a close second. Smoky. Smoky. Smoky.- Ash

Have been using a DasKB for years. While its very good and I like the clickty clack :) it doesnt work well with Zoom calls I am on these days. Need a good mechanical full size or without the numpad, but as quiet as possible. Please and thank you!- Ash

Getting back - new rig
Thank you Dewey! Quite a lot you packed in that post! Should keep me up all night researching all the outlined options. I have been curious about the Denons from the last merry go around. Funds were a lot tighter then. Is there a discernable difference between the 5200/7200 and 9200 ? E-MU teak...- Ash

Getting back - new rig
Hi Folks, I have been away from HPs for a while. Currently have a Dark Voice 336SE and Schiit Asgard (2011) amps. Also have an AKG 701 and Senn HD650. 701s are great at detail but lack bass. HD 650s are good all rounders but can sound dark sometimes. The setup will be placed in my...- Ash

Schiit Bifrost vs Eastern Electric MiniMax DAC and Meier Corda Stagedac
Excellent Comparison!! I have a slightly off topic question for all the folks who have had experience with the EE minimax. Anyone notice a hiss on the tube setting if the volume on the amp/pre is turned up? I have recently started noticing it after I had to run the volume at high. This...- Ash

Where to go from here?
I need an amp to run all 3 of my phones well - AKG 701, Senn HD 650, Audeze LCD-2 (not yet here). I have used a ZERO, then a Darkvoice 336SE. I am pretty certain that the DV wont run the LCDs well. Using the CA DAC magic/PC as source. I would like to try something that will fit in a...- Ash

Where to go from here?
What do you guys think about the Denon D5000 thats on sale at a pretty good price on Amazon? Or do I need to pony up to the 7000 to experience a difference? Will that be an overlap with my 650s? OTOH, Thunderpants might not happen for a while as the Fostex driver is out of stock still.- Ash

Where to go from here?
Quote: LCD-2s arent ruled out at all. However I have heard that they are a beast to drive? I was hoping for you guys to egg me on or steer me away from that direction. HD800s - wont they overlap my akg 701s, or are these a different animal altogether?- Ash
