I'm looking for a good alternative to Apple EarPods. I like everything about the EarPods except the fact that with every pair I've owned, one ear loses its connection after a few months. (I tend to keep them in my pocket, so they do get a bit of wear and tear). So either something more reliable...

I discovered the Sharp MD33 a couple years ago on these forums. For me it was just the right balance between sound quality and comfort. But I can't find them for sale anymore (last time I used AudioCubes, but they no longer have them). Do they still exist? Thanks, JW

Yeah, I wish I had know about this (and about the Creative) before I bought it. Now the question is, do I trust my soldering skills enough to try to fix it myself? Still, I'm very happy with the 'phones....they seem to be the perfect balance between price, sound quality, and comfort.
