Head Direct RE-2 attracted my attention. It looks like people prefer it to Denon C551. Not sure though whats the case with C700/C751.

I've read that the Sony EX700 have thin/weak/crappy cable(as most of the Sonys) and that really puts me off for now. Of all the dynamic canalphones, which have the best cables? The Denons?

No, not all models. Do you guys think that Sony MDR-EX700SL/LP is the king of dynamic canalphones? I know, I know, its subjective, but at least for soundstage, speed and tonal balance?

There are many nice dynamic canalphones out there, and rarely they're compared to each other. What are the strengths and weaknesses of Denon C551/C700/C751, ATH-CK7, Klipsch models, Atrio M5/M8, Sony MDR-EX90, MDR-EX700SL/LP, Futuresonics, etc.? Lets comment guys!

Miklos, what headphones did you use with A818? They should be pretty sensitive.

The new DT990 Manufacture at 600 Ohms and velour pads sound wonderful with forward-sounding tubes. I'd definitely get a pair someday.

Why not Tubeman after its 'tubey', analog-ish sound? Or Rocky or something?

I think SR325i will be the next step, unless you jump straight to RS1.

Still, that Nokia phone N96 probably won't be as great music device as N91 was, thats what the guys at mobile-review and some other sites say. The SQ isn't exactly on par with N91. Milkpowder, look above.
