ETYMOTIC new tips - A Silent Surprise
KClone - I would also like to hear feedback from anyone with ER4 custom moulds. I would like know before investing the money. Nadavnaz - I used to have the comfort issue, however, after a few weeks of use I don't notice them anymore. Bear in mind that I fly long haul 4 times a month...- Entropic

SE530 vs IE8 vs SA6......
I've been playing with the PTH for a few days and I can definitely hear sound degradation compared to not using the PTH. Also, I think that hitting the 'pause' button on my iPod will probably be good enough. The default foamies don't have the same sound isolation as the Ety triple flange so I...- Entropic

SE530: Removing Foam Tips without Damage
Hi all, I just received my SE530's a few days ago. I have been impressed with the SQ so far. However I would like to try the other tips that came with the 'fit kit'. The problem is that I can't seem to remove the black tips. When I try to pull them off it looks like they will tear rather...- Entropic

High-End IEM's for BIG ear canals??
Hi gig, Just as a thought, it sounds like your major consideration is the seal for your ear canals. So why don't you just take your favourite IEMs and put custom moulds on it? They should fit your ears perfectly, no?- Entropic

The iBasso T4, tinier than the T2 and better . . with more new images page 1,5, 14 . .
Thanks dfkt and K_19, Seems like both of you are (or were) suffering from hiss. I stopped using the Sony NC11 about 3-5 years ago due to the nasty hissing from the active noise cancellation. It did bother me a lot - hence I now use the Ety ER4Ps. I'm thinking of buying the Shure 530s as a...- Entropic

Does anyone use the T4 with a iPod Nano 4G and either the Ety 4Ps or Shure E530? Just wanted an opinion of how this setup will work. Both in terms of practicality (carrying the setup around) and sound quality.- Entropic

Xin Amp Ordering Options
Hi all, Here's an update. I've ordered a Xin SuperMini IVand I'm now waiting for my Ety E4Ps to come back from the Ety repair shop. I know that it will take a while (i.e. potentially years) to get the amp delivered but the reputation of the Xin Ety ER4p combo seems to be fantastic. I...- Entropic

Er4p, are they still considered good?
They are absolutely fantastic. I've been using mine for 6 years (according to my posts on Head-fi anyway) However, the two negative comments I've read are;Comfort - Some people comment that Etys not comfortable for extended use and not comfortable to insert. However, I suspect this is very...- Entropic

Xin Amp Ordering Options
Thanks for the replies everyone, so far we have; I did look for a comparison before I started this thread, but the only thing I found was Dr Xin's write up and the 38 portable amps review. Although Xin's thread is comprehensive I thought it would be best to get a second (independent)...- Entropic

Ety ER4P - Worth replacing cable?
Really? At $160 for 1ft and $190 for 4ft I think that's rather expensive!!! (Given that Ety will replace the original cables for $50 plus shipping). Entropic- Entropic

Ety ER4P - Worth replacing cable?
Zanth, I'm sure you already know, but Apuresound makes a replacement cable. However it costs $160+. I'm pretty sure that I read a post by Xin explaining how he made his "no longer available" cable. (However I can't find it!) Entropic- Entropic
