I've been on the proverbial iMod/ALO fence for the past couple weeks and the portable v-cap sounds like a great way to go. My two elusive questions are how to charge and sync post-iMod. Sounds like digiheads tip would let me charge using an existing iPod dock, or I could go the custom charger...
