Been through half a dozen at least. None have died on me, I just had upgrade-itis that's all!

I've had my SE530s for about two months and only yesterday needed to take off the foamies for the first time. Throw them in a plastic bag in the freezer for 15 minutes, take them out, use a cloth for a bit of extra grip and twist them off. And yes, IMO they are perfect :-)

I can see people having fit issues with these. Anyway, looks interesting. Thanks for the review!
