      As a line out source I'd say that M is surprisingly good with a more linear presentation than the direct phone out, plus it bypasses the distortion issue with certain IEM pairing. I find when possible, high impedance + maximum volume gives the best result in most cases. Mid impedance...

I can't say for sure on this one. As far as I recall the bass on qa360 is faster and the energy more towards mid-bass.
