Westone UM1 with a Fiio E5 amp...
My Shure SE210s recently went out on me, so I'm looking around for something new. My budget is $150 and I want to get the best possible earphones and amp. I've been hearing a ton of good things about the UM1 so I'm seriously considering them. http://bit.ly/7N9ecw Also, I've never owned a...- swmaxxx

Gershwin Help
I'm looking for a more recent recording of Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue." A great performance is also extremely important. Can anyone help? -
Closed headphones in the $250-350 range.
Yea go with the DT770s. Plenty of bass, extremely comfy and sound fairly decent. You really need a sound card though. On board sound = nasty.- swmaxxx

BeyerDynamic owners unite...
Unfortunately I only have the mid-fi 770. And it's not even amped yet. I've been thinking about getting the 880s or the 990s but I'm not sure which to get. I hear they are very different.- swmaxxx

Which headphone is most comfy lying on a pillow? :)
I use my DT770s from time to time in bed. However, it really depends on the type of pillow you are using. If its a kind where your head just sinks right in, it may be a little difficult to use full size cans.- swmaxxx

"Bedphones"
It really depends on your pillow. I have really really soft pillows and my head kind of sinks right in. I still use my DT770s in bed from time to time. They are very comfy.- swmaxxx

Which Headphone has a punch or Great Bass?(Headphone posted in thread )
Yea I own the DT770s and they have very prominent bass. (and I don't even have an amp yet). Also, you can forget the Bose headphones. It sounds like you want a quality headphone. Bose won't ever give you that.- swmaxxx

Pico or AE-2
From what I've seen, the AE-2s are tiny. However, HeadAmp says that the Pico is 40% of the size of the AE-2. That's ridiculous! I was wondering if the AE-2 is better than the Pico and by how much. Is there even a way to find out since the Pico isn't out yet? Should I wait for it to come out or...- swmaxxx
