I received this dac/amp today from toschek.... completely in love with this unit...  seems to work perfectly with my he-400   WOW is all I can say....WOW...  Avenged Sevenfold never sounded sooooo good

I have been thinking about the magni/modi combo....and also the fiio e09/e17...  not sure which would suit me better... all I do know is that I am really loving these headphones...  cant wait to hear them just a touch louder!!

I listen to music mostly, but I do game some...  music is much more important though...   I mainly use my sr850 right now, but am also looking to upgrade....  trying to decide between T50rp, sa1000, or m-audio q40....  I might stretch my budget a little

I almost always use my samson sr850s and was a little disappointed with my jvcs. So I gutted the jvcs and replaced the stock drivers with the drivers from my broken ur40s. All I can say is awesome. Much better than either pair before. They are a little bass heavy, but I havent messed with any...

The headstage lyrix pro usb amp/dac is nice. I love mine and it sounds awesome and the dac works great. and they are well under 200 bucks... got mine for under 100 used on this site. Has adjustable gain, crossfeed, and bass boost as well... and takes a reg 9v battery or 15v power supply
