Cowon J3 and Podcasts
Is anyone using the J3 for podcasts? Does the Jet software sync podcasts? Or do you use other software for that purpose? Thanks.- Desertway

Can someone please compare Cyclone PR1 Pro and Yuin G2A?
I need something portable and was planning to get the Cyclones. Now they seem to be unavailable. I don't know whether to wait or go for the Yuins. I know they are a totally different form factor. I am only interested in how the sound signature compares. Thanks.- Desertway

Zune Pass question
The music does not evaporate. Zune pass music CAN be streamed to the player without downloading, but it can also be downloaded to live in your collection - on your PC and on your player. If you want to experiment with more music, you can create SmartDJ autoplaylists. These playlists can be a...- Desertway

Alessandro MS1000 and MS Ultimate - DIY & modding [56K warning]
Being a gal, and having no DIY abilities whatsoever, is there anyone here who has - or would consider - doing this mod on my MS1's for me? PM me with a quote if it is something you might do. If it sounds right, and you have a good rep on the boards, I would sign any needed waivers.- Desertway

Good cans....lousy recordings...what to do?
It depends. When I rip my own it is mp3 320 cbr. If downloaded, less. But we are talking about not-remastered recordings that are just lousy - even on the original vinyl. The technology (or money) just wasn't there for fine recording live in clubs in the 30's/40's/50's. Check on my own for...- Desertway

Good cans....lousy recordings...what to do?
I listen largely to classical and jazz. Most of my classical collection is relatively hi-fi. But much of my jazz is vintage recordings, like live mono sessions from the 30's or 40's. For these recordings, my MS1's are lousy. My KSC-75's and Portapros are better. However, I am not the kind of...- Desertway

Zune owners, do you suffer random shutdown on your zune????
The shutdown problem on the 30 was mentioned a lot on the Zune boards for awhile. Many people did seem to think it was a static electricity issue. My first 30 shutdown several times a day. I had that one replaced for a different issue, and my current unit does it, maybe, once every few weeks. I...- Desertway
