Getting anything is probably months away because I've spent too much money on gear and music recently, but how much is shipping to EU on average? Around 3-4k ¥? Trying to figure out how much I need for shipping + tax.

They don't really fit my ears in any size. I prefer the Sony EP-EX11 over them, they are slightly shorter and softer. Tho I've completely switched over to SMP iFit tips, Acoustune AEX70 and JVC Spiral Dot++. They just work for me, great consistent seal, incredible comfort and great sound.

☝️🥸 Ackshually the AEX70 are made of SMP iFit. So it is more of a hybrid material than a pure silicone, a silicone compound if you will. And they truly are one of the best tips. I don't size up on them tho, but that makes sense for IEMs with shorter nozzles.

Why would you need more power from a desktop amp/dac for IEMs? That's all 4.4mm out does. For ground loops and other noise there are surely better means to fix them before the analog out 🤔

You should be fine with the dongle you have with those. Tho the impedance is kind of low on that set. I can't imagine there'd be a noticeable difference when streaming lossy content with a better dongle.

I like to focus on comfort and reduced microphonics when shopping for cables. I'm currently using Nobunaga Labs Iris cables on both setups (desktop + portable) Very light and thin cable with no ear hooks. Perfect for a glasses wearer.

Repeated cable swaps will loosen the connectors on the IEM. Not just MMCX but 2pin aswell. I'd suggest tip rolling because with tips the sound difference in them is real, and not like in cables where you have to belong to the church of cables to hear the difference.

It's wire, makes no difference if it's correctly made. AWG only matters in long cable runs.
