Ok thanks for clearing this up. Our confusion must come from the fact that some webshops register the country of the visitor in the browser instead of waiting for the checkout, makes sense.

So in essence they are a freight forwarder, an EU webshop shouldn't have to do this, I have bought numerous items from all over Europe and paid the price shown in EUR on the product page only.

This will be a great 2nd hand buy later this year, when the next FOMO giant killer DAC releases. According to Darko the depreciation of chifi will make it an even greater bargain.

Enjoying my Weiss 204 with LPS too much to switch it up just yet... This does sound incredibly smooth though and it is seriously itching my new gear bug. However at this rate you can end buying a new best end game giant killer DAC every year 😎

I'll try that when I can stretch it. For now I'm using a 9v Studer 900 design from AliExpress. It's surprisingly good for €100, definitely better that the stock SMPS.

I would think so, since the 204 has a DDC already, it will completely re clock and reprocess the digital signal from any DDC... Not sure chaining DDC's provide any benefits. It's a fantastic product, and it allows me to run more DACs and easily switch between them.
