Man, I just got a set of Dan Clark Aeon 2 Noirs. I love them but they were expensive. I don't know if I could stomach spending an extra $1200 but it'd be worth knowing if it's worth the upgrade. I can return these but only for a short time. I really love the Noirs though!

My Dan Clark Aeon 2 / Bifrost / Jotunheim is fantastic but for the money a Magni Modi Sennheiser 6xx is probably the best bang for the buck. AKG 361s with an Apple dongle are also awesome for much less. Just over $100 total.
