I have to say...as a small boutique shop they should not do the pre-order deal again. No one likes putting that much money out there to wait months for the product. Be better to just sell as batches become available. Would probably create more hype vs creating frustration.

sennheiser, jvc, and Panasonic manufacture buds in China. My point is Chinese buds are not inherently low quality. They will make whatever you ask them to make at whatever quality you pay for. QC varies but I wouldn't just broadly categorize Chinese buds as low quality.

Yes, there are earbuds worth their price beyond the ff5s. As far as the rw3000s though I'd wait till they go on sale vs paying the list price. They can be purchased for less than 190 during the right sale. And that was before the release of the rw4000.
