Mail delivery today...for the Vali3 A new Kaish aftermarket volume knob addition, opted for a smaller but textured one. Also, a new tube which is currently warming up and getting some listening time as I am typing this. An AMC/RFT 12AU7A from the 70's. Sounds great so far I must say! :notes: :)

This is the one that fits without adapters. There might be adapters for some of the others but looking at the list, maybe only a small amount. I'll let another forum member comment as to which but also, you could probably use keyword search terms like "TUBETYPE to 5670/2C51 adapter" to try and...

That's literally the only thing I'd change about the V3, the stock knob has no grip and I do like the ones you picked out since my interface has a similar knob with that textured feel. Mind sharing a link where you got yours? :)

For those headphones, the Motu's internal amp should be perfectly fine and even for most IEM's. Where it starts to dwindle is when you get higher impedance headphones above 120 (or so) Ohms. Also, certain IEM's that have a low impedance still open up much more (both subjective and objective...
