Just bought the AD700 yesterday. My first 'audiophile' headphone. Sounds great. Bass is not overwhelming but controlled and tight. with my xtrememusic, i can adjust the bass though. Super comfortable. It's like cotton wool resting on your skin! But because it's open, you can hear noise outside...

alright, i'm down to 3 choices. the hd 555, a700 and ad700. which should i get? usage: FPS gaming and movies, music last. i don't need noise isolation because it's only me and my mum in my home. just want the sound quality and performance..

just got the XB over the X3. the bass won me over. am very glad that for this price, you get such good sound. i also tested the shure e2c and weston um1 but in the end, decided on the XB. only complain is the box and casing.. red paper box. red casing. o.O
