The problem is that MusicTeck is telling me it's not defective, and I'm just past the 30-day return window. Here is the message they provided me, which doesn't make sense as I'm not using the NOS filter so I don't see how they can tell me it's not defective. I've seen them mentioned a few times...

I have tried different players (Neutron, Poweramp) with local files, which are FLAC, and getting the same results. I also tried the native tidal app, and encountering the same issue.

If I'm using a DAC ( Luxury Precision W4), does it matter what phone I use? For example, I was looking at buying a Doogee phone which has a massive battery but other than that, specs aren't that great.

Do you think the Sony NW-A306 will be able to effectively power this as well? If it helps, it's the Japan version.

After researching and reading through this thread and others, I decided to purchase this and it will be my first DAC. Being new to this world, I'm now looking at IEM's. Any recommendations for IEM's under $500 that will take full advantage of the 4.4mm output? Thank you!
