Schiit Syn Surround Processor Reviews/Impressions
I'm surprised at the lack of response myself. I've made similar coments on Audiophile Style with little response there, some mildly affirmative. While stereo 'imaging' is the cream on top in many audio commentaries, I think most people realize that they haven't really heard it in live...- Skip Pack

Hi, I'm using a ProtoDAC 1387 X8 hat dac on an RPi4B (look at moodeaudio.org) with my Syn in a 3 channel setup. I've built several ProtoDACs to test component variations and am very happy with the latest. Not really directly informative to your situation. The one thing worth mentioning is that...- Skip Pack

Your suggestions make sense for HT use. I am using my Syn presently (with great success to my old ears) for three channel reproduction of 2 channel inputs. I am using 3 Nostromo cabinets I built (Scott Lindgren design) with the prescribed Alpair MarkAudio 11MS drivers. I have drivers to build...- Skip Pack

The heart of the question is now: widening (or narrowing) the "sweet spot" or the sound stage? I'd love to hear the designer's explanation!- Skip Pack

Hello! I'm and ancient audiophile who is very speaker oriented, but I probably listen through my Hifiman He-4XX phones more chasing music online, mostly youtube. Thought I would enjoy and learn from a new perspective here. Skip- Skip Pack
