There are alternatives for system wide PEQ like i said in the second paragraph with apps like wavelet but you will have to wait for other people to bring those in. Additionally, you dont need to get an Hiby player for PEQ as Fiio's players also have system wide PEQ like i mentioned. As for an...- Sorys

Magic 8 Ball likely reference MSEB feature that is exclusive to Hiby players as a system wide feature. The way to view it is like a 10+ band EQ with easy to understand user interface and easy to understand what the changes do. The only way to get it on the DX180 would be to install the Hiby...- Sorys

This is an interesting behaviour I have had something similar happen as well this time with apple music. What I am seeing is, at times, the player will mute playback when hitting next track or if the previous track ends with a quiet section. Doing next track and previous track does seem to fix...- Sorys

FIIO first cassette player CP13 is officially released!
Just got mine in today from the people at A2A Sydney in the white and black to match my pro-ject debut carbon evo. All I need now is a good recorder in decent condition and a heap of cassettes to create a duplicate copy of my some 500-ish vinyl records and I will be good to go. Anyway...- Sorys

Stax SR-X1 (new entry model)
I did ask about this as well and it is because the distributor is being annoying and does not want to bring the gear in so charges a premium for them. It is not the retailers fault on this one- Sorys

What you can do is flick the wheel one notch then control it via the touch screen as it is a digital volume control. Additionally if you get the more expensive leather case rather than the included one i feel that does help or if you are game you can use it caseless- Sorys

Dan Clark Audio E3 Review: Interview, Measurements, Impressions
Got a chance to try these with a Hiby R6 Gen III and a Topping NX7 stack (so by no means a high end source) and have to say I was a bit disappointed. They are a lot of money and they do not really offer much more than other (and cheaper) headphones even within DCA’s own line up. They are built...- Sorys

iFi Audio Asks... What (Product) Should We Make Next?
An entry turntable that is not just a repurpose of the skywin, hanpin or leetac mechanisms on the market. Walked into a big box retailer here in australia and there was literally like 15 or so turntables all from different brands who should in theory have nothing to relate them together all...- Sorys

HiBy R6 III (Gen 3) Android digital audio player, Dual ES9038Q2M, Class A / AB amplification switch, Snapdragon 665, Open Android 12 OS, DSD512 / PCM768
Okay this is a weird one for you. I upgraded to fw 1.31 and i have noticed the tuning of the device has changed. It seems to shimmer in the treble now least out of the 3.5mm line out. I am running it through a nx7 as my amp. It definitely didnt sound like that before the update. Ill go through...- Sorys

Sorry for the delayed reply. It often happens when my player is in my pocket so im not sure if it due to sample changes but i cant recreate the issue everytime regardless of sample rate changes. It happens at random intervals generally on the balanced 4.4mm phones out. I havent had it happen...- Sorys

HiBy R6 III (Gen 3) Android digital audio player, Dual ES9038Q2M, Class A / AB amplification switch, Snapdragon 665, Open Android 12 OS, DSD512 / PCM768
Unfortunately starting to get loud popping/clicking sounds when changing track on apple music, qobuz, spotify and on the stock hiby music app. Its not my headphones/iems as it is happening on multiple from different brands. Was anyone able to fix this or is this another unit return issue?- Sorys

HiBy R6 III (Gen 3) Android digital audio player, Dual ES9038Q2M, Class A / AB amplification switch, Snapdragon 665, Open Android 12 OS, DSD512 / PCM768
Considering the glare the dap has in class ab it may provide a bit of over emphasis on an already bright iem in the HS2000MX. Class a may help with that but there is no guarantee. As for comparison to the ak we would need to know in comparison to what dac module considering the interchangeable...- Sorys

Thats a hard question to answer due to the swappable amp modules of the dx320 so people would need a little more info before being able to answer that- Sorys

Hi all, Thanks for the update about the new update. Seems SRC is still broken in some apps. If you use wavelet it resamples to 44.1khz now but bypass appears to be working for qobuz and apple music no issues. Bluetooth amp mode is still broken however. It connects and changes volume no issues...- Sorys

Completely agree overears really do like class a. Only had one pair of iems benefit from the class a that being the dunu talos gets rid of that treble glare it was picking up. But i use my elegias a lot as they are my main travel headphones so class a gets a fair workout from me. Probably a...- Sorys

I have go it to do so but yes it has stopped at 99 at times as well. Honestly it doesnt matter much long term and is in fact most likely better for it because having the battery charged at 100% does put extra strain on it- Sorys

FiiO&JadeAudio Over-Ear Headphones Discussion & Impressions Thread
Looking into the specs of the FT3 it is worth to note for 110dB you need 1.87vrms and 5.3ma rms for 10mw of power. The vrms figure is the important one here and with headroom being a thing, it is all dependent on the dap. Even the Shanling m3x single ended does 2vrms but 4vrms out of balanced- Sorys
