That's due to the incredible resolving capability the Utopia has, it scales up by a larger margin than anything else I've experienced on upgrades on any component of the system. It's just so much fun to witness how the Utopia scales up on anything you add into the chain.

Well done and you won't regret! With the Dana reference, now I dare to say the Utopia might be the best headphone in the world, even against my current reference BHSE+SR009.

Just received the Dana cable Lazuli reference from Vinh today, it looks great on the Utopia. Usually I wouldn't make a comment on new cables until they settle down at least for a few days, but the Lazuli reference just sounds so good right out of the box! It doesn't change the tonality at all...

lol, dam Apple correction, I meant "difference". As I tested the Utopia in the store with the Hugo, the overall balance is on the bright side and the highs are a bit harsh. No issues at all in my own system. The Utopia is dead neutral and simply the reflection of what the front end sounds like...

I've tried to pair the Utopia with different desktop/portable sources, although all of them can drive them to a listenable SPL the fact is it immediately tells you whether it is a good one or bad one without any hesitance. Like a punch in the face "stop feeding me with the crap"

Compared to Abyss, TH900's bass is full of distortion...   save for the bass, TH900 is great.

Seriously? I own both Abyss and th900, to me the bass of Abyss is several notches above that of th900. Compared to abyss, th900's bass sounds booming and can't go as deep as Abyss...Never confuse quantity with quality.
