Audeze - Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v63 and HQ v107 beta on June/12/24)

My Audeze Maxwell is getting recognized as a gamepad/HID device and it seems to be messing with my actual gamepad, had this happened to anyone else? Any way to fix it?

That's probably the sidetone. It's unusable on the Maxwell unfortunately.

On something unrelated this forum always crashes my Pixel 6 for some reason.

Unfortunately the firmware reinstall didn't work. So far I've only have this happen on the Lenovo Legion Go, so my guess it's a driver thing.

Audeze - Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v63 and HQ v107 beta on June/12/24)

I bought a Lenovo Legio Go and having strange behaviour connected via Bluetooth with the Audeze Maxwell. Sometimes, I lose all audio, and even if the headset is connected I get nothing, and I don't get audio back until I disconnect and connect again. Also, the Maxwell get's into a weird state...

Audeze - Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v63 and HQ v107 beta on June/12/24)

Question, I have 2 windows machines, one connected through bluetooth, on with usb-c. I want to give priority to the microphone in usb-c, but as soon as anything is playing on the bluetooth machine, the microphone focus will go to that machine, and I will no longer get mic output. Muting the...

While you make fair points, you should also be comparing to other wireless low latency headsets, not to all planar magnetics.

Audio quality is mine blowing. Only issues are the sidetone and well, yes my first pair had the crack. But new pair still sounds just as amazing. Going back to the mh670 (my first pc wireless headset) wasn't a pleasant experience.

I use them on my Steam deck with Bluetooth and latency is surprisingly good.

I have a mic from a cooler master mh670, curiously enough if I plug it to my mic extension, that does work with the Maxwell's boom mic, it doesn't work at all, even though the plug seems to be identical.

If you have it try it, they are supposedly backwards compatible.

Ok, so I did a quick test, I connected a microphone extension cable with the audeze's boom mic, and I still get the static/noise. However, if I disconnect the boom mic, I still hear noise, even though there isn't anything plugged in to the other end. So I think it's not an issue with the mic...

The volume on my Boom mic can definitely get really loud, to where I hear outside noises, so not sure what differences there are between units that account for that.

If I remove the boom mic and cover the built in microphone hole, so that there is no sound, I hear %0 static. Whereas if I do that with the boom I still hear static, although it's reduced.

I'm kinda glad that more people have the problem now, hopefully it gives the issue more attention so they actually attempt to fix it. Of course I don't know the technical implications, but I wish they could just apply some processing like their ai noise reduction to the signal before it gets...

Mine is also unacceptable, but it always was, and the new unit is exactly the same. So I think it's just an overall hardware defect of the Maxwell, it's just curious that some people reported it working fine for them, and people like you where it got worse with a firmware update. Unless you can...

Finally got my RMA, amazing turnaround and service, thanks! However the sidetone issue persisted on my new unit, maybe it just picks interference in my apartment? I updated the firmware but I still hear the crackling, but now the sidetone volume is really low. For me I guess I'll keep on not...

Audeze - Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v63 and HQ v107 beta on June/12/24)

I clearly said "I can almost guarantee" which implies that it's my opinion and speculation. Nobody knows, including Audeze employees. Only very high up Sony executives will know, and even then the strategy they are going with with the Audeze brand is not set in stone or finalized. Sony has...

For current support, warranty and sales it doesn't mean anything. For future products I can almost guarantee that they won't be making xbox certified products anymore. However, they might still bluetooth and PC compatible, and maybe have some sort of basic generic xbox compatibility.

This does happen on PC, but on PS5 you are out of luck.
