HIFIMAN Shangri-La: The New Electrostatic Headphones From HIFIMAN

I checked out the z10e and it's definitely something that I can get later on, I was more worried along the lines of having to get something like the 3es elite or something around that range. My initial plan would be to get the headphones and get a cheap amp as my funds will be drained from...

HIFIMAN Shangri-La: The New Electrostatic Headphones From HIFIMAN

since im looking towards a upgrade and not a sidegrade then the Shang Sr would be the choice. In terms of amping the SR how detrimental would the sound quality be with a 1000$ amp?

HIFIMAN Shangri-La: The New Electrostatic Headphones From HIFIMAN

Curious if anyone here has heard the shang Jr with the dedicated amp, how it ranks compared to the Sr and susvara? Reading alot of reviews in the shang Jr thread and other threads but getting mixed feedback. Many reviews say that the susvara when properly amped are better then the shang Jr, but...

HiFiMan Shangri-La Jr (New $8000 Electrostat)

Do you have the susvara or tried it? Wondering how the sound stage compares since I was expecting the shang Jr to have a bigger soundstage then the sus

HiFiMan Shangri-La Jr (New $8000 Electrostat)

I'm curious as someone who owns and loves the susvara, how does the presentation of the shangri-la jr compare? I heard dynamics, planars and prefer planars. I've never heard e-stats, but I've read lots of reviews and seen lots of impressions especially from stax. I'm wondering if I should pull...

So the AHB2 arrived and i finally got time to put it too use, and my god the difference is huge. The sound just feels more full especially the low end, the bass just hits lower and harder!

Recently upgrade to the fenestrated as well, the difference in sound for me isn't massive tho, I'll have to do some more testing especially once I get a proper amp to drive it

Yeah the susvara running off the rme adi-2 is very cold and lifeless. That's why I always used the euphoria to run it instead, for the tubey warm goodness. But with the power lacking and not having a actual good amp to power it, the benchmark will be the first upgrade along a long line of other...

Yeah for now I'll upgrade the amp with the benchmark AHB2, running off the rme adi-2. Save some of the money for a zmf caldera, then later on upgrade the dac. Gotta buy banana plugs to xlr, any recommendations or Amazon adapter fine?

I think I'll most likely go for this, as I've heard great things about the AHB2, but first time hearing of the holo audio spring.

Ok, first thank you guys for the input. I'm getting different responses as to which to change first amp and dac wise. Price wise the 7k is the end game, amp or dac or amp dac combo, new not used. I love the Euphoria, as it gives it a warmer sound compared to just running it off my RME adi-2...

Hey guys, first time poster long time lurker. Had my sus for over 2 years now, running off a RME adi-2 dac into a Feliks Euphoria. I've been reading through alot of the thread and there's alot of opinions on power and proper amping. Just wondering if I wanted to upgrade something in the chain...
