I decided to stop burn in of the new firmware as I heard good improvement in overall. Just reflash back v1.0 for 10 mins … and decided returning back to v3.7. Thanks for all the v1.0 & v3.7 advises from this group. For now I will just normal play with v3.7. May be after a month I only try back...

150hrs milestone. Not yet flash back to v1.0. Did some a/b comparisons with old cd94 modded (removed os chip, extra 3x ps, dedicated clock) cdp. Overall sound getting closer to cd94. Treble can hear less harsh got improve. I will let it continue burn in till tonight.

tplus (3.7) around 120hrs by now. On the pre & amp, a bit sound difference, not a huge jump yet. Got try os sharp slow filter setting. Still prefer nos. Anyhow, will wait till Sunday for critical listening. By then should reach 160hrs. Then will revert back v1.0 to compare.

Remd, because of your and some other optimistic comments about v3.7 , I have to continue wait for the burn in ... I most likely will test the sound again this weekend. It shall reach 120hrs by then.

Ya, I all the while off amp only on when to try the sound. Only pc DDC DAC on, monitor pre amp off most times. My dac tplus 12th may not pre installed with v1.0, I felt v3.6 sound closer to orig sound to me. Anyhow v1.0 was older firmware that install at orig terminator ... Not the 12th...

My original tplus 12th dac has v3.6 equivalent, definitely not v1.0 sound characteristic. When I flashed it to v3.7 early June, sound can observe change a bit. After 24hrs, I flashed it back to v1.0. Without any burn in, v1.0 sounded a lot better. I have question here why v1.0 without any burn...

I did off my pre and amp most time. My burn in only DDC & DAC with pc usb using hysolid app. No need logon windows. It can continue run hours ... I off DAC at night as I do not want it continue run overnight. I know it should not have issue 24/7, I just no rush for burn in.

Oh ya this is my 2nd round updated to V3.7. If I added first round 24hrs in early June, it shall reach 45hrs by now. Well, it still far from 200hrs as others claimed. Now off my hifi. Tomorrow continue again.

20hrs progress seem positive. I can heard got difference. Piano, instrument more pleasant feel. The mid still lack of warmest, but more okay than 1st hour. No dare to revert back to rev 1.0 now. Worry spoil my v3.7 experiment!! I no turn on 24/7. And need 8 to 9 days to reach 100hrs milestone.

I only set NOS, never try fast or slow yet. I found v1.0 indeed real warm. V3.7 more detail. Will have to give it more hours ...

Just back to v3.7 {Tplus) yesterday. No huge expectation as expected mid will not warm compare v1.0. Decided just continue with this version. Am waiting for miracle as many of you have managed to find it. After 8hrs play, still find it a bit bright. Will see how it goes next week

I knew there is quite some folks notice continuous run for weeks the sound get better. When you run burn in, it has another possibility other hifi components (pre amp, amp, etc) analogue circuits will also get the burn in. Hence, it might not necessary the FPGA new firmware new programmed logic...

I have the same experience left & right dsd channel swap. After run thru 000 to 111, seem like dac 111 setting is correct but need swap dsd channel. DDC remain 000.

Just updated v3.7 to my T+ 12th .. update was not that smooth as my current win 11 pc does not has proper config file. Previous update was on another win 10 pc. Took me some time to figure it out. But still within an hour job, not too bad. I2s now need to set to 111 at dac, with dsd left right...
