Those AC's look phenomenal. The ridges on that wood are marvelous. Almost as if it was a living creature since the ridges form after the contour of the wood shape changes.

I use EH 6922 Gold Pins for mine. Also an upgrade from original tubes. I love em.

That is correct. It was one of those colors that presented exclusivity. I love that purple can be subtle, agressive, elegant and bridges the gap between red (some times hard on the eyes) and blue (very calm).
