Hello mates, Grado was my first taste in the audiophile world, not that I´m one, and despite tasting different brands and models over the last year and a half, it was the only certain brand with a few models as the Hemp, the 325i and the RS-1 Classic. Recently I finally took the plunge into...- glpsace

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)
Hello friends, It has passed a month since I purchased my unit from an European retailer. In all honesty, having missed the first discounted batch, I was very skeptical purchasing it at full European price but considering it was still cheaper than most ZMF HP that always intrigued me like...- glpsace

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)
I´ve been very reluctant to get the RU7 because it will be connected to my iPhone 13 mini and my old Ipad, both using lightning connection. I had the ru6 in the past which was nice, without issues with the Iphone, but the RU7 is more demanding and also I was not using the Bokeh, also more...- glpsace

I have used the RNHP, the Valhalla 2, the Gilmore Lite MK2 with the dedicated PS and now the V222 with my Grados and other HPs. Of the lot, I liked more the Gilmore and V222, the last one being my favorite. Bass is excellent with the Gilmore but even better with the Violectric. The only...- glpsace

I wish I had a shop like that to go to. It must be the most famous shop in Austria by the numerous times that I see it mentioned in different threads around the forum. Very interesting your impressions about the 325x, especially when compared to the older PS500 serie. Since I changed the pads...- glpsace

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)
You have Headphone Auditions Amsterdam. A trusted website and they have still one in stock if not mistaken. Obviously, having missed the discounted batch, the price will rise to over 1000 dollars. So 1275€ (shipping included), after discounting taxes, custom fees and shipping from the US, will...- glpsace

Yes, the RS-1 Classic are originally meant to be used with the f-pads, and in my opinion tops without contest the L-pads as the Nyczaj ones. Curiously my 325i is top notch with the Nyczaj pads over the L-ones, but keep in mind that I enjoy bass a lot. The Hemp, that I also owned in the past -...- glpsace

You should try the Nyczaj pads on the 325i. I use them with my 325i and love it but I love bass. People say the XMF Bokeh has a lot of mid-bass, it is like a "baby" ZMF AC but comparing the 325i with the former Shipibo pads to the Bokeh, to my taste, it doesn´t lack in bass. Cheers.- glpsace

The Nyczak pads transformed the 325i. Treble was tamed a little and mid-bass is so more to my taste. If only it had more sub-bass presence, it would be an unbeatable headphone for the price. I don´t like the polish pads on the RS1 Classic, F-pads are much better with these.- glpsace

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)
My Beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro has this exact system. I don´t have yet pads or different meshes to play with the Bokeh, but I'm happy to report that I'm listening to it every day and especially the low-end keeps "opening-up". It is now a more mature sound, mid-bass is powerful as I like it but...- glpsace

Qobuz Lossless Streaming Service Thread
I mainly listen to instrumental Progressive Metal / Rock and Qobuz may be a superior streaming service in terms of SQ, but it is shocking how lacking the library is when compared to Apple Music. At least one third of the artists I usually listen with Apple are non existent or with a discography... -

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)
Hello, Thank you. I know that but unfortunately the price is just too steep for what I'm willing to spend, even used (which is still expensive, at least in Europe). So the Bokeh is overall a nice option. It does almost everything right. A tad more sub-bass and it would be almost perfect, for...- glpsace

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)
Hello Lovely Folks, I know there is a huge fan base, around, of the ZMF Headphone, but in all honesty I have never came to think that I would one day be part of this group. The reason is simple and practical. Living in the European Union I don’t fancy purchasing oversea brands, especially...- glpsace

Violectric V222 and V202
No, no difference at all. Yes, I have tested with different wall sockets around the house, including 2 that are next to each other and with one it hums and the other it is dead silent (tried it several times with always the same result). So I guess it is directly related with the power quality...- glpsace

Violectric V222 and V202
Hello, I´m experiencing terrible buzz / hum from any Headphone connected to the V222. I know it is not from the inputs as if I disconnect all, nothing changes. It is for sure a ground loop from the power /ground. I have a Surge strip with all devices connected. If I connect the amp alone...- glpsace

Holo Audio Cyan 2 DAC
Did you go from the Frerot to the Schiit for any particular reason. I had the impression that the Merason was a better DAC that the Bifrost. I would also be very interested in a comparison between the Frerot and the Cyan, even if based only in memory and feeling impressions. Cheers.- glpsace
